Dr. Atul Dhir is a seasoned physician, scientist, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in healthcare leadership and scaling innovative companies. He currently serves as the CEO of Principia Health LLC and as Advisor to PE companies, Start up CEOs and Medical School. He has held prominent leadership positions such as CEO of PatientsLikeMe, Chairman/CEO of New Century Health, and CEO of BiPar Sciences at Sanofi and President of US Oncology (now McKesson Specialty). Atul holds a DPhil in Medicine from the University of Oxford and is a Rhodes Scholar. His particular expertise is in building healthcare companies that are leaders in their segment and combine improve patient care with a strong business model. In his 35 year career, Atul has been on different sides of the company “exit” process, from selling a company, to acquiring and integrating companies and also a PE lead Management buy out of a public company. During his role as the Chairman and CEO of New Century Health, Atul led a complex and challenging exit with a successful outcome for all stakeholders.
