Bio

Mandy Pant is the TA, Lead Technologist in the Intel Design Engineering Group at Intel Corporation. She has been at Intel for 24 years and has served as the Component Design Engineer and Academic Research Director prior to taking on her current role. Mandy serves as the Chair of IEEE TCVLSI and Editor-in-Chief IEEE TCVLSI Newsletter. Mandy received her PhD from Georgia Tech and is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur.

Mandy Pant will discuss how High Performance Technologies such as nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, neuromorphic computing, quantum computing etc. that are based on or influenced by VLSI technology can create new opportunities and challenges for entrepreneurs. She will highlight how these complementary technologies can create opportunities for entrepreneurs to create novel and high-performance products with greater degree of standardization and secure features at reduced cost to enhance the integration of different technologies.
