Topic:
AI Startups - Hype vs. Substance
There is little doubt that AI has penetrated the mainstream conscience, and that AI is here to stay. However, there is much hype and poor understanding of what it takes to succeed with an AI business. Venkat will focus on what it takes to succeed as an AI startup, both from the perspective of the entrepreneur and the investor. When it is a good time to get VC funding, what to expect from the VC, and what type of VC to approach - specialized vs broad, or other criteria to consider.
